Some of these extras appeared in all levels, some in just a few and some in only the hidden secret levels. Following is a list of all the items available in Megablasters:

	At the start of each level the players are able to ignite two bombs at the ame time. With this extra an additional bomb up to 9 bombs total could be ignited by the player who picked it up.	This item is available in all levels and in the battle mode.
	Similar to the one bomb item this item adds three bombs to the total amount of bombs available for the player who picks it up. Nevertheless 9 bombs is the maximum amount of bombs an individual player can ignite at the same time.	This item is available in selected levels only excluding the battle mode.
	Like the bomb items this fire item increases the initial two field distance of any explosion by one additional field. A maximum of 9 fields in each direction is possible by consecutive collection of the fire items.	This item is available in all levels and in the battle mode.
	This three fire item adds three fields at a time to the maximum distance of the players explosion size. A maximum of 9 fields in all four directions is possible.	This item is available in selected levels only.
	Collecting 5 shoe items results in a doubled speed for the player who collected the 5 shoes for the rest of the current level. Collecting less than 5 shoes yields no effect whatsoever.	This item is available in selected levels only. Not available in the battle mode.
	The pair of shoe item decreases the remaining number of shoes to be collected for a speed up by two. After collecting 5 or more shoes the speed of the player is doubled for the rest of the current level. Collecting more than 5 shoes doesn't increase the speed any further.	This item is available in selected levels only.
	The remote control allows the player who collects it to remotely ignite the next five bombs he drops on the playing field with the second fire button. Collecting more than one remote control adds up to the total number of remote controlled bombs, i.e. collecting one remote, dropping two bombs and then collecting another remote control results in 8 remote controlled bombs total.	This item is only available in selected levels.
	With the sandclock item any player could freeze all the enemies in the current level for a limited amount of time. This helps to get rid of fast or dangerous enemies, though with some enemies the effect of the clock is rather useless (e.g. the Clown in the Village World or the Armadillo in the Forest World) since these enemies reveal their weak spot only when they are in motion.	This item is available in selected levels only.
	The shield give the player who picks it up a limited invulnerability to explosions and being touched by enemies. This item can be very helpful when dealing with fast enemies or opponents who shoot back at you. In the Forest of Delusion Level 2 it is needed to enter the Secret Level.	This item is available in selected levels only. In most End of World Guardian levels it is provided as a compliment by the programmer.
	The bonus life item adds another life to the total number of lives available for the player who picks it up. A maximum of 99 lives can be acquired by a single player.	With a few exceptions, this item is available in Secret Levels and End of World Guardian stages only.
	The BONUS characters have to be collected consecutively in each of the five levels of any stage in order to enter the Bonus Stage where a number of valuable extras can be collected. Once one character is missed or destroyed by a bomb no player will be able to enter the BONUS stage.	These items are available one by one in any of the five regular levels of a world only.
	Different score items only add various amounts of points to the total score of each player. Every five thousand points the player is awarded an extra life, so collecting of these vases, sweets, rings and amulets can be advantageous to the player.	These items are available in all regular and Bonus levels.
	Lady Bug rings just add points to your total score. They don't need to be collected to finish this secret level.	Only available in the Lady Bug Secret Level.
	The Lady Bug key needs to be collected in order to leave the Lady Bug Secret Level. After it was picked up the door of the level opens and any player can exit the Secret Stage.	Only available in the Lady Bug Secret Level.
	All the Pacman regular pills need to be collected to be able to leave the Pacman secret level. The yellow pills just add points to the players' scoreboard.	Only available in the Pacman Secret Level.
	The red Pacman pill has the same effect like a Shield item in the regular stages: it yields a time limited invulnerability to the player who eats the pill. All red pills have to be collected in addition to the yellow pills in order to leave the Pacman Secret Level.	Only available in the Pacman Secret Level.
	The various Fruity Frank fruits just add points to the scoreboard of the player. All of them need to be collected though to finish the Fruity Frank secret level.	Only available in the Fruity Frank Secret Level.
	The Roland in Time diamonds are shiny and worth a lot of points. Besides that they don't have any other function. You need to collect all of them in order to be able to exit the Roland in Time Secret Level through the Telephone booth.	Only available in the Roland in Time Secret Level.
	Gauntlet Treasure chests add some points to your scoreboard. You don't need to collect them, if you want to exit the Gauntlet Secret Level, but some additional points can come in handy every now and then (remember you get an extra life every 5000 points!)	Only available in the Gauntlet Secret Level.
	Gauntlet wine and chicken items add an extra life to the total number of lives available for the player who picks the item up.	Only available in the Gauntlet Secret Level.
	The Gauntlet potion is yet another disguise of the famous shield item from the regular levels. By picking up a potion the player gets a time limited invulnerability to all the enemies.	Only available in the Gauntlet Secret Level.
	The keys in the Gauntlet level need to be collected in order to open the blue doors in the Gauntlet Secret Level. Without the keys neither player can exit this Secret Stage.	Only available in the Gauntlet Secret Level.
	The Top Secret Level Torch helps you to find your way through the changing labyrinth hidden in Cobrons coat. You need to pick the torch up to see where the current position of the ACME bomb is.	Only available in the Top Secret Level.
	The ACME bomb is your only means to destroy the evil sorcerer Cobron. Without it you don't stand a chance against Cobron's evil power. You can only find the ACME bomb in the Top Secret Level after you've collected the torch to light your way through the labyrinth. Once you've picked up this ACME bomb item the bombs of both player will turn blue instead of black and the explosion of any bomb will be green plasma that can penetrate the magic shield of Cobron!	Only available in the Top Secret Level.
